What are you most passionate about and what drives you?

I’m passionate about exploring and experimenting with life. Life is an adventure for me, and I always embrace whatever life offers me and try to go with the flow. I have one life to live. Hence, must extract utmost opportunities from various sources, even beyond my comfort zone, to create the journey of my life full of vivid and unique unforgettable affairs.

What have been your personal challenges and how have they defined you?

Challenges are what makes life interesting. Overcoming them makes life meaningful. One of my greatest challenge was fear of public speaking and communicating with people at random. I was introvert, inexpressive and cocooned. But while progressing with life, I understood that my attitude towards life determine life’s attitude towards me. It’s entirely my choice how I frame my life. Either I remain swaddled lifelong or show the world my potential.I accepted the challenge and started my journey towards transformation. I worked on my deficiencies to convert them into my efficiencies. Today, as head of an organization I’m connecting, communicating and collaborating with people of different strata, effortlessly.

How have professional networks empowered you?

Active professional networking is vital for career growth. Networking is all about building relationships, raise your profile and become visible and noticed. Networking can be an excellent source of new perspectives, fresh ideas, exchanging information and enhance knowledge. Regularly attending various professional events has expanded my personal and professional growth, opened doors to new opportunities and familiarized me to potentially relevant people.

Who are your role models and why?

A good role model, according to me, is some one who is positive, calm, confident and unique in him/herself. In that sense I could say my MOM is my first role model. She has been my strength, support and safest shelter for years, encouraging me to strive for greatness and blossom to my fullest potential. Another of my role model is Kalpana Chawla, the first woman to fly in space. She is an inspiration for me, being an extraordinary woman, who set an example of extreme courage, dedication, free spirit, big dreams and the power to achieve the goals.

What does work-life balance mean to you?

Work-life balance is an important aspect of a healthy mindset. It’s all about dividing time between the work and the leisure.  Maintaining work-life balance reduce stress and increase productivity and ensures good health and wellbeing.I do make it a point to give myself the quality time required just to be myself or to be with my loved ones. For that I always set priorities, plan, negotiate flex hours, delegate works and limit self-indulgence in-between works.
